Dina Torok is a computer consultant specializing in providing FileMaker customization services. Dina has been developing solutions with FileMaker since 1994, and has been owner of Data Maven Consulting (formerly Torok-Design Solutions) since 1998.  Her clients range from sole-proprietors to enterprises with over 100 employees.  Dina’s personal attention to clients’ business needs, her comfortable demeanor, and her development skills have kept her clients raving about her contribution to the success of their businesses.  Dina served on the Advisory Board of FileMaker Developers in Southern California (FMDiSC) from 2005 to 2010, and was Topics Committee Chair and a speaker. She is a FileMaker Business Alliance (FBA) Partner, and is a FileMaker Certified Developer.

As the former Manager of Information Systems at a small entertainment company, Dina handled its computer-related needs, which included training the president and the staff, creating needed databases for the company, and managing and troubleshooting its computers and local area network.

In addition to database development, Dina has also provided one-on-one and group training to individuals and enterprises. Her experience includes working with 3COM and Palm Inc. to promote the company’s line of Palm handheld organizers at trade shows and at corporate training seminars. She has provided consulting to companies looking for solutions on how best to take advantage of these emerging technologies.
